Panelists Dr. Anne Piantadosi, Dr. Tim Uyeki, and Dr. Cherie Drenzek review published cases of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (AH5N1) and discuss the virology, epidemiology, clinical management, and public health perspective of the virus. The public health perspective additionally covers efforts of the Georgia Department of Public Health in identifying and mitigating H5N1.
