In this twenty-eighth episode of SCDP's ECHO podcast, Dr. Gavin Harris reviews the Region IV Special Pathogens of Concern Situation Report. Panelists Dr. Tim Uyeki, Dr. Jay Varkey, and Dr. Cherie Drenzek discuss influenza (i.e., burden, complications, risk, treatment, etc.), H5N1 and human infections, and a case of RSV. In addition, the panel addresses coinfections, regional differences and trends of respiratory viruses, and answers audience questions via a Q&A discussion.
